Position Reports to: Sr. Java Developer/Lead
Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to:
- 70% Development & 30% Technical Analysis.
- Complete software lifecycle involvement from initial specification development through release and implementation
- Interactive applications with high visibility within customer organizations
- Development in Java/Swing client and server
- Planned migration to Java server
- Oracle database
- Close interaction with Project Manager, Quality Assurance, DBA, UNIX Administrator, Customer Support and end-users
Requirements:
- 5 + years developing in a Java environment
- 3 -5 years experience with Swing
- Experience with the following:
- Oracle database design
- JForm Designer
- AWT
- OOP
- JDBC
- Jide
- Eclipse IDE
- ANT
- Client/Server
- Auto Code Generation
- Multi-tier Architecture
- College degree
- Advertising and/or financial programming background a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal skills
Business experience in the following disciplines is a plus:
- Media software, a plus
- Financial software (client billing, vendor payment), a plus
