Position Reports to: Q/A Manager
We require an experienced QA Analyst at a mid-level-to-expert knowledge base. The successful candidate will conduct quality assurance checks on an Oracle application for media procurement and analysis. The incumbent will be on a team responsible for testing the digital and analog Media ERP system.
Other Duties include the following:
- Develop and execute test suites, including manual, automated, and data-driven regression testing, GUI testing, performance and stress testing, and reliability and recovery testing
- Document and/or package test suites and make them available to all of Engineering and QA
- Develop, maintain, and deploy testing tools and test data for use during internal QA testing and/or by other organizations. Coordinate the development of tools with engineering and other internal users
Job Qualifications:
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in software development, white box testing or test engineering
- 3 to 5+ years experience as a software test engineer or software QA engineer for, involving writing and executing tests, white box testing
- Software engineering skills in Java, including basic design, programming, and debugging
- Working knowledge of SQL and HTML. Experience with C/C++ desired
- Proficiency in UNIX networking and UNIX shell scripting. Basic knowledge of networking appliances such as routers and switches a plus
- Experience with black box and white box testing techniques and methodologies, including test and data design and documentation
- Experience with functional, regression, performance and stability testing, including automated stress testing
- MS degree in Computer Science or similar discipline is preferred
