This role will be working on leading industry products.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Oracle BI, design star schema and Oracle Cubes
- Work with Business Analyst to understand Analytic report requirements
- Create ad-hoc reports
- Data Profiling & Cleansing
- Develop Linux/Unix scripts and PL/SQL to automate tasks
- Perform pro-active and reactive performance analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Review database changes and do releases
- Schedule and perform Oracle rman backup/recovery
Required Background:
- Demonstrated experience with relational database physical design, performance tuning and capacity planning
- Experience with multi-dimensional data models
- Practical experience designing databases using standard practices in OLTP and OLAP environments
- Experience with Linux/Unix and scripting/data manipulation tools
- Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and team relationship skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to work with large degree of independence
- BS degree in Computer Science or Economics related field or equivalent years of experience
