This role will be working on leading industry products.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Oracle BI, design star schema and Oracle Cubes
  • Work with Business Analyst to understand Analytic report requirements
  • Create ad-hoc reports
  • Data Profiling & Cleansing
  • Develop Linux/Unix scripts and PL/SQL to automate tasks
  • Perform pro-active and reactive performance analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Review database changes and do releases
  • Schedule and perform Oracle rman backup/recovery

Required Background:

  • Demonstrated experience with relational database physical design, performance tuning and capacity planning
  • Experience with multi-dimensional data models
  • Practical experience designing databases using standard practices in OLTP and OLAP environments
  • Experience with Linux/Unix and scripting/data manipulation tools
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and team relationship skills
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work with large degree of independence
  • BS degree in Computer Science or Economics related field or equivalent years of experience
